"When at last we reached Chunchi it was also dark, and I was quite relieved when a fellow passenger showed me to a small pension close to the station. It was fairly basic, but clean and comfortable, and only cost 50p. Later, I had a short walk into the town and was able to find a cafe serving chicken soup with bread, this, washed down with a beer, completed what had been another fulfilling day. The following morning I rose to a fine, clear day, enabling me to see just what a beautiful area I was in, so I lost no time in setting off for an early walk around, before returning back to the pension for breakfast." - MH
