"On my second afternoon in Georgetown, a local school teacher, turned musician, working at the towns restaurant come nightclub, noticed me sketching, and after we had talked for a while, he offered to give me a conducted tour of the town. He did not want any money but seemed just pleased to show me round, so I should get an insight into their way of life. It made such a pleasant change to meet someone like him, and I found the tour he gave me, which included a visit to his home to meet his wife and to the local pottery, all most interesting. When we parted the only thing he asked of me was if I could post a letter for him that he had addressed to a friend in Manchester. This I was pleased to do." - MH
