Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral or "Paddy's Wigwam" as known locally is Britain's largest Catholic Cathedral and home to the Archbishop of Liverpool. Architect Sir Frederick Gibberd designed the structure to represent the brief 'A Cathedral in our time' and The Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King was born.
