Haworth will forever be associated with the Bronte sisters who moved to The Parsonage in 1820 and wrote the majority of their successful novels here. The local pub, The Black Bull, is where it all went went wrong for Branwell Bronte as he became addicted to drugs and alcohol. If you like a good walk try The Bronte Way, but beware it's 43 miles long.
