"Though it had not been a strenuous walk because of the climate I felt it had been quite enough, and after being given my tour of the village I was quite ready to sit in the shade and make this picture above. 
While I was painting the father of my two guides turned up with his small tourist party from the hotel. They also were given a tour of the village, but within 20 minutes were on their way back. I felt I must have got far more from my visit, having spent over 3 hours there which had given me the chance to observe much of the village life while I was sketching and drawing." - MH
