Usually referred to as La Seu. King James I of Aragon began the build in 1229. It was designed in the Catalan Gothic style with Northern European influences and eventually completed around 1601. It is one of Europe's tallest Gothic buildings and has an icredible 61 stained-glass windows - leading some to call it the 'Cathedral of Light', with a spectacular central rose window.
