Central Library of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). It depicts a different period in history on each of its walls and holds one of the largest collections in the country. Opened in 1956 it was designed by the architect Juan O’Gorman together with Carlos Lazo.

"The very attractive library at the University of Mexico, its walls are covered by mosaic telling the story of Mexican culture. This mosaic treatment was also used on many of the other university buildings to varying degrees of effect." - MH
