The Manxman was in service between 1955 and 1982. Originally a passenger ferry, the TSS Manxman has been a museum, nightclub and restaurant as well being a TV and  film star. As the ship aged and was damaged by fire money was raised to preserve her, but ultimately she was finally broken up for scrap in 2012.
