With an area covering 1000 acres The Port of Tilbury on the River Thames, is London's major port and it is also the largest multi-modal port in the South East. It has it's own Police Force (formed in 1802), the boat chase in Indiana Jones and the last Crusade was filmed here,
and Tilbury2 is under construction.
